Motherhood brings out the strength you never knew you had until you are faced with difficulties. This is especially true when your kids get sick, or get bullied in school.

I am a timid and patient person. When somebody upsets me, I just ignore it and would rather be quiet than confront the person. But when I became a mom, I discovered that I can be assertive when my daughter, who’s got my timid personality, is being stepped on.

You are the perfect mom that God gave to your kids. Do not compare yourself to other moms and do not compare your kids to others. Different people have different personalities. You were entrusted to care for your kids and they love you no matter how messed up you think you are.

Try to find joy in every little thing each day. Yes, your kid splattered his food on the dining table which also made a mess on the floor. The living room has toys lying around anywhere. Your kids are yelling at each other over a toy. It’s noisy and it’s messy. That’s motherhood. Before you know it, your kids have all grown up that they don’t want you to kiss them anymore. So just enjoy the beautiful mess around the house because it’s not going to be forever.

If stay-at-home moms are lazy, then why don’t men want to take charge of the housework? I think stay-at-home moms are multi-faceted. Ignore the people who judge you for “just at home” taking care of the entire house and your kids, 24/7, 365 days in a year.
There is no manual on how to become the best mom, yet you are doing great and you are the best for your kids.

Having a downtime for yourself allows you to recharge your mind and re-energize your body on what lies ahead. You deserve “me” time after all the hard work you have been doing to keep your kids from harm and raising them with the right values. Pampering yourself for a bit is not a sin. Have a fresh mind and body to have a pleasant and happy mood.

Setting the right values to your kids is far more important than any material thing in the world. It’s alright to allow them to experience difficulties sometimes so they would value hard work in the future. Teach your kids to be self-reliant because you won’t always be there for them your entire life.

Moms are worrisome especially when it comes to their kids. Your kids don’t know how hard you pray for their safety, and for them to be free from harm and sickness. That’s how much love a mother has for her children. It goes beyond any words.

It’s tough being in charge daily of everything, but kids are what propels you to get up even if your bed is too comfortable and it’s calling you. You can’t lose yourself. Your kids are depending on a strong mom like you.

Other people may look judge you just because you’re a stay-at-home mom. You are only looked at as a mom who cleans the house and cares for your kids and then only watches television the entire day. But to your family especially to your kids, you are their superhero.

A person is only made tougher in difficult situations. You are a mom and so you can endure anything because you are made stronger through the tests of time. Even when sometimes you feel like breaking down but you just don’t give up. It is because your love for your kids is far greater than how badly you feel.
