Staying connected with your subscribers is very important to continue building trust. Even more so when running a campaign like promoting a product. I’ve tried both of these ESP (email service providers) and both are great. But for starters who are on a budget, it’s best to use an ESP that is free but offers the important features that you need. Here’s a Sendpulse vs Getresponse comparison.

Sendpulse
PROS
Sendpulse has the key features that any business owners need which is the autoresponder. For start-ups who are just starting in building their list and have a limited budget, I would highly recommend them. They offer a lot of features that others offer for a certain amount which you get in Sendpulse for free. How cool is that? And even if you increase your list size to more than 500, their price is also very competitive. You even get awesome chat support. They also check your list if there are duplicates so they can only be counted as one.
CONS
It would be so much better if you can create a landing page in Sendpulse. Their sign-up form also needs a lot of improvement, maybe better customization. I also hope that it could be easily integrated with my page builder Elementor. Although these can be addressed through other methods, it would still be nice if they can improve in these areas because it would create a better user experience.
Getresponse
PROS
I like the convenience of its integration with Elementor because I can easily assign a form to a particular contact list without using a third-party integration. I’m very particular with customer service and Getresponse rocks at this. Their support team is very helpful all the way.
CONS
I wouldn’t say that the price is expensive because it’s not. But there are just a lot of features in Sendpulse that are free like my favorite – automation. Duplicate contacts are counted separately.

“Best Email Marketing Software for Affiliate Marketers”
OVERALL: “If you’re an affiliate marketer and want to get started on your email campaigns quickly this is the best software out there. They have super easy set up and their automations are easy to build. They’re of course seamlessly integrated with all the other known Lead capture tools as well.”
PROS: “- Super easy set up – They allow affiliate marketers to use their software for emailing relatively cold leads. Big win! – Great customer service – Decent affiliate program – Relatively is expensive for many contacts.”
CONS: “- There was no free option – It doesn’t let you open multiple tabs of same instance for easy copying and pasting -”
Conclusion
I’ve used Getresponse for 2 years. I was happy with their features and support especially with how easy it is to integrate with Elementor. But because I was not 100% dedicated to working on this blog at that time, I wasn’t able to maximize their paid subscription. Until I found out about Sendpulse. I’m now using this app and I can say that I’m quite happy with it.
I’m still in the free account that is just about right for my current needs and requirements which is not a lot. I was happy with Getresponse but I think I’m going to stick with Sendpulse for the long haul.
